Account Director - One Year FTC

Account Director at Grass Roots Meetings & Events.

We are looking for an Account Director to join our us as a maternity cover from June 2018, working with a number of key clients mostly within the Financial Services industry. We are looking for self-motivated candidates to join the dynamic account management team and approach the role with enthusiasm, passion and professionalism.

The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of key established accounts with an opportunity for growth through consistent engagement activity. They will identify strategic development opportunities and design and deliver tactical communication and engagement campaigns. They will be able to identify trends and articulate recommendations to clients on continuous improvement of their programme through data insights analytics.

The role requires a confident self-driven individual who can take ownership and responsibility for the client relationship at all levels, while being able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and demands on their time.

They will be able to track and report on their accounts' performance against agreed budget forecasts and ensure measures are in place to achieve and exceed revenue and appointment targets across their portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of four years’ experience managing client relationships within an agency or hotel environment and be able to work with operational teams to ensure successful delivery to client. Ideally, they will have also been instrumental in pitching, winning and seeing through the implementation of a new account.

Strong interpersonal skills are required to build upon our existing client relationships at senior levels across all areas of the accounts and identify development opportunities for growth in the future. Passion for face to face activity and relationship development with clients are essential to educate, maintain and grow client base within each allocated account.
